Swipe 20 times for each side of the knife for stage 1. Swipe 15 times for each
side of the knife for stage 2. Swipe 5 times for each side of the knife for
stage 3. Proper use is outlined for the various styles of knives in the manual. The
manual also provides tips and suggestions
